Help The Less Privileged Educationally And Economically

More than 82 million Nigeria’s population lives in extreme poverty, according to estimates from the World Data Lab’s Poverty Clock. Around June 2018, Nigeria overtook India, a country with seven times its population, at the bottom of the table. Put in another context, if poor Nigerians were a country it would be more populous than Germany. Almost six people in Nigeria fall into this trap every minute.at the root of poverty lies the deprivation of people’s access to basic necessities such as food, healthcare and sanitation, education and assets. And the evidence – including from India – shows that solving these issues generally lifts populations out of extreme poverty.

Positive Reorientation Of The Masses

The  re-orientation of  value  system  in  our  society is  a  search  for  national culture  that  would  reshape  national  character  and  image. Re-orientation of value system would promote national image, respect for human life and corporate values.  The  youth  would assimilate  the  culture  of  hard  work  and  productivity, wealth  creation,  employment  generation, entrepreneurship,  intangible  wealth  and  competition. HISANEF is optimistic that educated and uniformed youths   would   gain   better   understanding   of   the   subject   matter   while leadership, education, religion and home remain the fulcrum of value re-orientation for now and the future.

The poor are also less aware of the concepts and practices of scientific medicine, and differences in many beliefs and values make communication between patient and practitioner difficult.

Today, there are many unemployed graduates in the country. This is partly as a result of our long system of education that is more of grammar and not much practical learning.  It is evident that the highest number of unemployed is found in the African Continent. The truth remains that the major causes of the unemployment among these vibrant youths is lack of skill to back up what they learnt
